Alexandre Turpault is committed to plastic-free packaging

Your consumption patterns are changing and evolving. More concerned by the consequences of your actions on the planet, you want to buy differently, to buy better.

At Alexandre Turpault, we have heard you and wish to commit ourselves to a more responsible approach. And this starts with the reduction of plastic packaging in your packages, in favor of reusable packaging. Discover here how our zero plastic action was born and how it is implemented, starting today.

ACT IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR FOUNDING VALUES

Use of natural materials, promotion of organic or sustainable farming, recycling of textile scraps: the Alexandre Turpault company has been committed for many years to a global action aimed at reducing its carbon footprint. Today, this leitmotiv still drives us when it comes to packaging and its real usefulness.

The ban on single-use plastics in Europe and the desire to limit the production of unnecessarily polluting materials have led us to question our logistics. The fruit of this reflection? Ecological packaging for the entire Alexandre Turpault collection (except for end-of-series products already packaged).

NEW PLASTIC-FREE PACKAGING

For many of you, the vision of the world and consumption patterns are constantly changing. More sensitive to the production of your waste, you only have one wish: that their quantity decreases! At Alexandre Turpault, we share this ambition. Therefore, we want to reduce our plastic packaging while offering you carefully packaged linens.

We now offer new packaging, without plastic. A special textile bag has been created, in the main fabric of the purchased set, to pack flat sheets, comforter covers and accessories (bedspreads, quilts, fur plaids). Ecological and practical, this solution allows you to reuse the bags as much as you wish, in all your daily actions.

The pillowcases are soberly folded on a recyclable cardboard back insert printed with vegetable inks and tied with a pretty textile link. The fitted sheets are enclosed in a cardboard sleeve.

Tablecloths, bath items, cushion covers and light plaids are all folded and delivered without overpackaging.

The textile pouches are made in our workshop, near Lille, at the time of manufacture of the articles in order to avoid generating unnecessary surplus. The remaining packaging elements are manufactured as locally as possible, in France, and in recycled or recyclable materials.

UPCYCLING, TO GO EVEN FURTHER

In order to continue his momentum, Alexandre Turpault has also committed himself to the production of "upcycled" products.

Upcycling is a brand new practice that gives a product a second life. We have designed products that are made from our existing fabric resources. By using this principle of upcycling, we have been able to reduce our waste consumption considerably.

This project allows us to reuse our smallest fabric scraps, to give them life and to offer you limited edition products. For this season, we are proud to present our VELIN cushion cover, in plain cotton velvet and natural linen. A 100% upcycled product with timeless colors and completely in the air of time.
